From my study of scripture, I’ve learned that what is taught in mainstream religion, is not exactually the truth. When you study the word for yourself, you will see it as well. As I pursued maturity in my faith, I felt that the most important place for me to start was with learning the laws, commandments, and statutes of YHWH. I have to be honest though, the thought of the task alone felt a quite overwhelming, but it was necessary. As I read, I realized, again, I wasn’t taught the full truth. YHWH laws are not impossible to keep and in fact, most of them are what many of us would consider basic morals.

One of the commandments is that parents need to teach their children the covenant and the history of YHWH’s people. So, I pondered for a short while on how to go about this. My children ranged from toddler to preteen, and I needed to get on it quickly. I figured that the best method was the categorize the laws. Many of them are repeated from one book to another or listed in one place but detailed out in another.

Also, as I read, I could hear the Yeshua speaking in the Gospels. He never said that the laws were to not be kept, he really emphasized them and gave explanations of them. I felt this was also important for my children to know. So, I wrote a book.

I wrote an organized edit of the book of the covenant, and I included Yeshua’s reaffirmations of the laws. I self-published the book through Amazon KDP so I could because that was the quickest way to have it printed and bound. I was satisfied to have a proof and be done with it, but as I was studying and writing, a few other people expressed that they wanted a copy of the book as well.
